BE THEREEEEE!
Reflection. Inspiration. Motivation.
The State of our (un)Union unveils the plight of Black America. Awakening the inner conscience of the next generation is vital in the process of progression and I commit to unraveling the spiral of lost souls.
The glorification of excess, violence, hedonistic behavior has crippled the conscious of today’s youth leaving children, teenagers, and young adults captivated in a false sense of purpose.
Popular music, namely Hip Hop reflects the harsh realities of our culture, and creates a convex mirror reflecting what reality is and what can be. The words play an operatic omniscient certainty, which embarks the question of choice. Do we choose to live to the standards blared out through the speakers of a passing car? Is it possible not to become digitized by exploitive videos of someone’s mother, sister, daughter, or aunt?
The plight of Black America rests on an honest dialogue. Is Hip-Hop, a culture created out of the necessity of self-expression, now a mute catalyst to formulaic plague of the loss of honesty, self-respect, and self-identity?
Using many different forms of media the image of these questions force the viewer to take part and see. From newspaper clippings, to scrawled words, to the painted image, the message of the state of our un-union is being revealed. The question is now, what will be done? More importantly; what will YOU do?

Production Team, DJ Combine for Motown Mixtape Tribute “Revival”
In an era when many artists sample their music from the classic sounds of Motown, a nationally renowned DJ teamed up with one of America’s best production teams to introduce a new generation of music lovers to the legends of rhythm and blues.
Producers Lazy Genius teamed up with DJ Dommy Huge Deal Styles to create “Motown Revival,” a compilation disc of Motown’s greatest hits set to the rhythm and styles of today’s music.
Lazy Genius is an innovative production team comprised of working musicians from Detroit MI. Dommy Styles is the founding member of Tha Alliance DJ’s who has close to 20 years experience as a DJ and promoter.
The reason for the compilation, according to Dommy Styles, is to pay tribute to the Motown sounds and the impact the music has on today’s culture.
“We want to show our respect to the Motown sound and the great artists of that era,” said Styles who added that the mixtape will be available to listeners free of charge.
“It’s not about the money—it’s about the love of the music.”

My first feature is someone that I've grown to know and love, my friend JG aka The Jugganaut and he is SOOOO Jugganautical! He is a spoken word artist, also known as "Your favorite rapper's favorite poet", and he definitely owns and obliterates any stage and mic he encounters. He is currently pushing his album "The Jugganaut's Thoughts Vol.1: 792" that took him three years to complete. For anyone that had to wait in anticipation the ENTIRE three years, it was well worth the wait! Heck I only waited three months and I got what I expected and MORE.
It's one of those projects that take you on a journey in your mind to places both familiar and unfamiliar. You're definitely going to find something you can relate to on this joint whether it be "A Day At The Beach", "Nighttime Maneuvers" or "792" (who doesn't remember the Jolly Rancher sticks) you'll like it and LOVE it! The album is currently available for $8.99 through his website http://www.Jugganautical.com and if you see him in the streets of Columbus, Ohio or in your city, I'm sure he'll give you the $5 holla!
BeShayBE AGL!
Check out what other people had to say about him!
"Cutting edge poetry/spoken word.So far out of the box it's almost undefinable." -Max Parthas
"(JG) uses words to their fullest potential through most of the album to serve up a variety of angles." Hanif Abdurraquib
