Say HELLO is a new section where I'm going to feature people you may or may not know, that you SHOULD get to know! If you would like to be featured, send me your bio/website links/ and a picture to Shaybe@Beshaybe.com and we'll get it crackin! This will be posted every other Wednesday of the month...
My first feature is someone that I've grown to know and love, my friend JG aka The Jugganaut and he is SOOOO Jugganautical! He is a spoken word artist, also known as "Your favorite rapper's favorite poet", and he definitely owns and obliterates any stage and mic he encounters. He is currently pushing his album "The Jugganaut's Thoughts Vol.1: 792" that took him three years to complete. For anyone that had to wait in anticipation the ENTIRE three years, it was well worth the wait! Heck I only waited three months and I got what I expected and MORE.
It's one of those projects that take you on a journey in your mind to places both familiar and unfamiliar. You're definitely going to find something you can relate to on this joint whether it be "A Day At The Beach", "Nighttime Maneuvers" or "792" (who doesn't remember the Jolly Rancher sticks) you'll like it and LOVE it! The album is currently available for $8.99 through his website http://www.Jugganautical.com and if you see him in the streets of Columbus, Ohio or in your city, I'm sure he'll give you the $5 holla!
BeShayBE AGL!
Check out what other people had to say about him!
"Cutting edge poetry/spoken word.So far out of the box it's almost undefinable." -Max Parthas
"(JG) uses words to their fullest potential through most of the album to serve up a variety of angles." Hanif Abdurraquib
In anticipation of his upcoming release Sneakers x Starbucks, here goes Final Four from your boy Trek Manifest of Undfyned Entertainment. It's a value pack of 4 songs Exhibit U, Lemondae, Carryout, and Champion. You're sure to find a song here to tide you over until Sneakers x Starbucks is released! Enjoy!
So I don't how this happened, but it's definitely #aGOODlook to see artists from Columbus, Ohio working together! "The Couldn't Do Me" trilogy produced by Tha Audio Unit (which samples Fabolous in case you were wondering) features some of Columbus, Ohio's finest (all of which I've covered at one point or another) ripping the same track with rhymes that will make you rewind! If you don't believe me, take a listen for yourself and become a believer!
ALSO the Original "Couldn't Do Me" was featured on DJ Bern of Undfyned Entertainment's "State of the Union" mixtape, which you can DOWNLOAD from BeShayBE.com

How many college students do you know that have a record deal with J Records?? How many do you know that are still going to school full-time at Duke University while creating their debut album?? I know one, and he goes by the name of Mike Posner! The Southfield, MI native, Mike Posner is going to be in Columbus, Ohio at BOMA (Bar of Modern Art) Friday January 10th. I've been listening to some of his music lately and I must say that the man is DOPE! This is definitely going to be a do-not-miss event, and you know that the JWORK fam is going to be in the building! Make sure that you are too!
General admission is $20 VIP is $35... Not bad at all!
Not your typical person, nevermind female emcee, you're now rockin with the best her name is 6S. Success is her ultimate goal. From a new mixtape to shows with Mike Posner to trips to Miami out of sheer boredom, we're going in, are you ready for the ride???
- First and foremost I would like to say I'm happy to be interviewing my first female emcee! State your name and what it is that you do, and also let these good people know where you're from...
The name is 6S (pronounced "Success"). I gets busy. Currently residing in the city of Cleveland, Ohio but born and raised about 30 miles south in Akron.
-Me being from Columbus and seeing the music scene in Cleveland, it looks like it's really blowing up as far as artists gettin shine and doing big things. What is it that you feel makes you stand out amongst the crowd?
Each artist that's making noise is bringing something different to the table. Being a female is automatically going to make me stand out b/c most of the artists here are men. But I'd like to think it has a lot to do with my attitude. I don't really care about what's popular and I don't really care about TRYING to make people accept what I'm doing. I just make music that feels good to me and fortunately people seem to appreciate it.
- What made you choose the name 6S (pronounced Success) as your identity?
Success is the goal of any mission. The definition of success may vary depending on the individual but everyone wants to attain success. *cue Drake & Trey Songz*
- What is your definition of 6S (Success)?
Success the goal: To connect with the masses through my experiences and my stories. 6S the person: A rebel with a cause.
Every Monday we'll be comin @ you with new music or videos. Whether it be mixtapes, leaks, podcasts or what have you. If you have anything you want to see on here, whether it's from an signed/unsigned local/national artist send it to MusicMondays@BeShayBE.com!
Just about anybody that knows me knows that I deffinitely put on for my city, so I decided for t New Year I would slide y'all some music from some dope artists reppin the C.O. holla at this link to get the bulk of the collection that I've amassed of music from Columbus Ohio!
